60th Fries Wedding Anniversary Richard (Dick) and Joyce

60th Fries Wedding Anniversary Richard (Dick) and Joyce (Thurmond) Fries, Sr. of Springfield are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on November 5, 1960, in Jacksonville, Florida by the late Dr. John H. Hanger. They are the parents of three children; Janet Mahoney of Springfield, Sandra (Mark) Carr of Sugarcreek, and Richard (Anita) Fries, Jr. of Springfield. They are blessed with six grandchildren; Ryan Mahoney, Andrea Carr, Christina Carr, Audrey Carr, Ashley Fries, and Nathan Fries. Dick Fries is retired from Navistar International and Joyce is retired from her career in nursing. The couple will celebrate with a family gathering hosted by their children and grandchildren.
