Russell and Lorlee Hoff 70th Anniversary Meeting On

Russell and Lorlee Hoff 70th Anniversary Meeting on a blind date while at the University of Cincinnati, Russ and Lorlee were married on August 12, 1950. Following graduation they moved to Dayton, where Russ took a job at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. They welcomed their son Ross in 1953 and in 1954 moved into a newly-built home in the growing suburb of Kettering. Inveterate travelers, Russ and Lorlee enjoyed long driving and camping trips with Ross throughout North America. After Russ retired, their travels with family and friends expanded to worldwide destinations including the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, the Amazon River, the Pyramids of Egypt, the Maasai Mara, the Galapagos Islands, and Greece. They frequently traveled to Washington, D.C., to visit Ross and celebrate special occasions such as the dedication of the World War II Memorial with close friend Alex and many others. An important part of their lives has been their "fabulous feline family" of adopted cats.
