Schumacher 60th Wedding Anniversary Howard and Frances Schumacher

SCHUMACHER 60th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Howard and Frances Schumacher celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary August 27. They were married at Sulphur Grove Evangelical United Brethern Church in what is now Huber Heights. At the time it was a country church in Wayne Township. Officiating were the Rev. Robert Eschbach and the Rev. Harvey Smith. Bride's maid was Myrtle Bleininger (Frances' sister) and the best man was Bruce Smith (Howard's long time friend). Howard and Frances have four married children: Suzanne (Bob) Browning, Laura (Robert) Gerami, Greg (Debbie) Schumacher, and Polly (Travis) Hafer. They are blest with six wonderful grand children. Jessica Davis, Jack and Nicole Schumacher, Sydney, Austin, and Brayden Hafer. The whole family (well almost) celebrated the anniversary with a trip to North Carolina and the Outer Banks in June.
