Luke Elizia Morgan, whose last known address was 25 Market Square #2, South Paris, Maine 04281, and whose current place of residence and whereabouts are unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained, will take notice that on February 10, 2023, Jonathan Normand LeBrun, stepfather, filed his Petition for Adoption of Aishlign Eva Morgan, Case No. 2023ADP00013, and his Petition for Adoption of Ethan Owan Morgan, Case No. 2023ADP00014 in the Probate Court, Montgomery County, Ohio, praying that he be permitted by order of the court, to adopt, as his own children, the child Aishlign Eva Morgan, a minor born at Lewiston, Maine, and that the name of the child be changed to Aishlign Eva LeBrun, and the child Ethan Owan Morgan, a minor born at Lewiston, Maine, and that the name of the child be changed to Ethan Owen LeBrun, alleging among other things in said Petition that Luke Elizia Morgan, the natural father, has failed without justifiable cause, to provide more than de minimis contact with the minor or to provide for the maintenance and support of the minors as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one (1) year preceding the filing of the Adoption Petitions. "A final decree of adoption, if granted will relieve you of all parental rights and responsibilities, including the right to contact the minors, and except with respect to a spouse of the adoption petitioner and relatives of that spouse, terminate all legal relationships between the minors and you and the minors' other relatives, so that the minors thereafter are a stranger to you and the minors' former relatives for all purposes. If you wish to contest the adoptions, you must file an objection to the petitions within fourteen days after proof of service of notice of the filing of the petitions and of the time and place of hearing is given to you. If you wish to contest the adoptions, you must also appear at the hearing." A final decree of adoption may be entered if you fail to file an objection to the adoption petitions or appear at the hearing. You have a right to have counsel represent you at the hearing on your Objection to the Adoption Petition.
