Advertisement for Bid City of Monroe Brittany Heights Curb Inlet Rehabilitation Project LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Manager, City of Monroe, 233 S Main St. City Hall, Monroe, Ohio 45050 to be opened on Monday January 25th at 10:00 AM. The bid will furnish all mobilization, demobilization, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the Brittany Heights Curb Inlet Rehabilitation Project and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained at the offices of JWCI, Jones Warner Consultants, Inc., 8401 Claude Thomas Rd. Suite 51, Franklin, Ohio 45005 on any day of the week between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $125.00 per set. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. All contractors and sub-contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972 and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rate on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Monroe, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The City of Monroe reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject all bids. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting on Monday January 20, 2021 onsite in front of 3 Tarryton Ct., Monroe, Ohio 45050. All Contractors submitting a bid must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
