Advertisement for Bid Village of New Miami, Ohio LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Mayor, Village of New Miami, 268 Whitaker Avenue, New Miami, Ohio 45011 to be opened on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1 :30 PM in the Village Council Chambers. The bid will furnish all mobilization, demobilization, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the "WEST ELKTON WATER TOWER REPLACEMENT" and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents, bid sheets, plans and specifications can be obtained at the offices of JWCI, Jones Warner Consultants, Inc., 8401 Claude Thomas Road, Suite 51, Franklin, Ohio 45005 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, at a cost of $125.00 per set. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of a similar size and complexity. The owner intends that this project be completed no later than June 30, 2020. All contractors and sub-contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972 and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rate on Public Improvements in Butler County and the Village of New Miami, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
