ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the County Commissioners, Warren County, Ohio, 406 Justice Drive, Lebanon, Ohio 45036, until 9:00 a.m., May 21, 2019, and then at said time bids will be opened and read aloud for the Socialville-Fosters Road Bridge #32-5.14 Rehabilitation and Retaining Wall Replacement Project. Bid documents and specifications are available online at the Warren County's Website at http://www.co.warren. oh.us/commissioners/Resources/Bids/ Default.aspx. Questions regarding the technical specifications should be directed to Roy Henson, Bridge Engineer, at the Warren County Engineer's Office, at (513) 695-3310. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting the bid and be accompanied by a bid bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check in the amount equal to ten (10) percent of the bid. This notice is posted on the Warren County Government internet site. The Warren County Government Web Site can be accessed by logging onto the internet and typing in the following address http://www.co.warren.oh.us/commissioners/Resources/Bids/Default.aspx. To access bid project information, under the "Your Government" heading click on the "Board of Commissioners" tab, then click on the "Bid Projects" tab and choose the project you wish to obtain information about. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party of parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than twelve weeks after a notice to proceed has been issued and a preconstruction meeting has been held. All bidders shall be ODOT pre-qualified. All contractors and subcontractors involved with this project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Warren County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
