ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS Curbside Freon Appliance Recycling Collection Service for Butler County Recycling & Solid Waste District COUNTY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY GOVERNMENT SERVICES CENTER 315 HIGH STREET HAMILTON, OHIO 45011 Three (3) SEALED copies of each Bidder's proposal will be received at the office of the Butler County Solid Waste Management District, 130 High Street, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 until 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 and will be opened shortly thereafter in the Engineering Library, 5th Floor, for providing all equipment and staffing necessary for scheduling, safely collecting, handling, transporting, storing and processing of residential Freon appliances. Specifications / Proposal Documents may be obtained online at http://www.butlercountyohio.org/ commissioner or at the office of Butler County Recycling & Solid Waste Management District, Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. All bidders shall register by March 23, 2020 by contacting Anne Fiehrer Flaig at 513-887-3963 or anne.fiehrerflaig@bcohio.us Registering ensures that vendors receive addenda and copies of questions and answers given. Each proposal shall contain the full name and street address of the Bidder and every person or company interested in it. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Each Bidder is required to complete a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, a signed "Non Collusion Affidavit" and provide a Bid Guaranty (issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety) for the full amount of the proposal or Certified Check upon a solvent bank for the sum of five (5%) of the amount of the proposal submitted and made payable to "Butler County, Ohio, Board of County Commissioners," as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance properly secured by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all proposals, to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the County as determined by the Board, and to hold proposals valid for sixty (60) days from the proposal opening date. Proposals are to be sealed and delivered to the office of Butler County Recycling & Solid Waste Management District, and each Proposal shall bear on its face the name, address and phone number of the bidder and shall be plainly marked "PROPOSALS FOR CURBSIDE FREON APPLIANCE RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICE."
