City of Fairfield, Ohio Notice to Bidders 2023

CITY OF FAIRFIELD, OHIO NOTICE TO BIDDERS 2023 PLEASANT AVENUE (BUT 127 - 0.32 / 0.79) PROJECT Sealed bids will be received by the Finance Department of the City of Fairfield, Ohio, at 5350 Pleasant Avenue, until 3:00 p.m. Local Time, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2023 for the furnishing of the project known as 2023 PLEASANT AVENUE (BUT 127 - 0.32 / 0.79) PROJECT for the Public Works Department, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes are also required. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Butler County and the City of Fairfield, Ohio as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. Detailed specifications and bid forms are on file in the Finance Office at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio and on-line at Fairfield-city.org. Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents and other conditions therein described must be met. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked '2023 PLEASANT AVENUE (BUT 127 - 0.32 / 0.79) PROJECT' on the face of the envelope and display the name and address of the bidder. Cost of the plans and specifications is fifty ($50) per set, non-refundable if obtained as a hardcopy, or no charge if obtained as an electronic version from the City's public website at http:// www.fairfield-city.org/Bids.aspx Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents: o Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified) o Non-Collusion Affidavit o Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes o Section V EEO Certification Bid prices must be firm for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening date. The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
