DOCUMENT 00 11 00 INVITATION TO BID TIPP CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY HVAC SYSTEMS UPGRADES 11 EAST MAIN STREET, TIPP CITY, OHIO 45371 Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Trustees of the Tipp City Public Library, at the Tipp City Public Library, 11 East Main Street Tipp City, Ohio 45371 until 12:00 Noon local time on March 2, 2020 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals received after 12:00 Noon will be returned unopened. Proposals shall be the furnishing of materials, equipment, supervision and the performance of labor necessary for the: HVAC Systems Upgrades Tipp City Public Library 11 East Main Street Tipp City, OH 45373 In accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by CMTA Engineers, 222 East 14th Street - Fourth Floor Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. The project will be let under a single source contract. This invitation to bid is for an HVAC Prime Contractor with related Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm and General Construction. Project Budget Range is $430,000 - $460,000. Bidders shall submit with their bid with a bid guaranty in the form of a combined bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be in strict compliance with the Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54, 153.57, 153,571 as applicable. The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a contract bond in the sum equal to 100% of the proposal. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing wage Rates on improvement projects in Miami County, Ohio as ascertained and determined by the Ohio Department of Commence Bureau of Labor & Workers Safety as provided in Section 4115 of revised Code of Ohio. Tipp City Public Library is State of Ohio Tax exempt from Ohio State Tax. Exemption certificates will be furnished upon request. Attendance is recommended, but not required. All questions must be submitted by Friday February the 21st at 1:00 PM. Bids are to be submitted on or before March 2nd, 2020 at 12:00 Noon. Submit bids in sealed and labeled envelopes with the project name and bidder's name on the outside of the envelope. Mark the envelope: "Tipp City Public Library HVAC Systems Upgrades - Bid Enclosed - Do Not Open". Bids received after March 2nd, 2020 12:00 Noon will not be opened or reviewed. Each Bid must contain the full name of every person, firm, company, or corporation interested in the same. If bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Submitted bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of (30) days following the date of the bid opening. The owner will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Tipp City Public Library Board of Trustees, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids and to award the contract to the bidder, or bidders, who, in their opinion, offer the lowest and/or best proposal.
