Harrison Township Development Department Comprehensive Land Use Plan

Harrison Township Development Department Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Resolution Audit & Amendments Request for Proposals (RFP) The Harrison Township Development Department is seeking proposals from qualified legal and/or land use & zoning firms to review the commercial, residential, and vacant land inventory of the township in order to establish a comprehensive land use plan to guide the Harrison Township Board of Trustees, Board of Zoning Appeals, and Township Zoning Commission in legislative zoning and land use decisions using current data, market trends, and best practices. In addition, the Township is seeking an audit of the existing Zoning Resolution in order to revise or otherwise wholesale amend the Resolution and corresponding Official Zoning Map in order to comply with current case law and utilize best practices specific to Ohio Townships or other non-home rule government entities. Firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide the aforementioned documents should reply with a proposal no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Proposals are to include: a brief Statement of Qualification, references, cost estimate and preliminary timeline for completion.
