LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT Bids will be received in the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, 9th floor, County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45422, until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, for PP-1272, Eastern Regional Electrical Maintenance Project, for the Montgomery County Environmental Services Department. The Board of County Commissioners, Montgomery County, Ohio along with the Montgomery County Environmental Services Department is seeking contractor services for this project. This maintenance work includes but is not limited to: inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, repairing, checking, servicing, analyzing, lubricating, testing, Electrical Power System Equipment rated at 120/208V, 240V, 480V, 4.16KV, and 15KV such as: vacuum and air break power circuit breakers, lightning arresters, surge capacitors, control power transformers, potential transformers, power transformers, fuses, mechanical interlocks, electrical interlocks, automatic transfer switches, bus systems, switchgear enclosures, junction boxes, etc. The complete Request for Bids is available on the Montgomery County website at www.mcohio.org/onlinebids Two MANDATORY pre-bid meetings will be held. The FIRST MANDATORY meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The SECOND MANDATORY meeting will be a site visit and walk through held at Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Plant located at 1802 Spaulding Road, Kettering, OH 45432 at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Meet in front of Primary Substation Building. All questions associated with this request for bids shall be submitted to Barbara Asberry, Senior Buyer at AsberryB@mcohio.org in writing no later than Noon on Monday, October 3, 2023. Questions shall be submitted via email only and the questions and answers will be shared with all of the contractors. One (1) original signed quotation with forms 3 and 4 completed, two (2) additional, copies, and one (1) electronic copy on a flash drive shall be provided in sealed envelope identified as Eastern Regional Electrical Maintenance Project and must have the full name and address of the Respondent on the envelope. Montgomery County shall determine the lowest and best bid based solely on the information contained in each quotation received. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any irregularity of bids, should same be to the advantage of the county.
