LEGAL NOTICE CONTRACT 22-32, S. ERIE BOULEVARD AND EDISON AVENUE 12-INCH WATER MAIN INSTALLATION OF CITY OF HAMILTON, OHIO Electronic bids will be received through Bid Express by the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Owner"), until 2:00 pm, local time, Thursday, December 15, 2022, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter at 345 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 for furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: Contract 22-32, S. Erie Boulevard and Edison Avenue 12-Inch Water Main Installation (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by City of Hamilton (Design Professional"). Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). Any questions must be received by the Owner through e-mail no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on Friday, December 9, 2022 in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. In general, the improvements on which proposals are requested will be as described below: 1,720 lineal feet of 12" ductile iron water main, 205 lineal feet of 8" ductile iron water main, 6 fire hydrants, reconnection of 12 existing water services to the proposed mains with new services and curb boxes, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. Notice is also posted on the City's web site, www.hamilton-city.org click on Services then Bids & Quotes, or by query directly at www.bidexpress.com. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder. Contract documents are available through the Bid Express Website at: www.bidexpress.com. Registration with Bid Express is free and allows for the Bidder to review, download, and print all contract documents. A digital ID along with a per bid fee of $45.00 or a $50.00 monthly subscription will be required for the Bidder to submit an electronic bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. This is an Ohio Prevailing Wage project. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s).
