LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received by the Clark County Land Reutilization Corporation, in the office of the Clark County Community and Economic Development, Clark County Springview Government Center, 3130 East Main Street, Suite 1A, Springfield, OH 45503, until Monday, 08/29/2022 at 10:00 a.m. for the 2110 W. Jefferson St. Demolition/Blight Removal Project Bid. Copies of the Bid Proposal and Contract Documents for the above may be obtained at the Clark County Community and Economic Development, 3130 East Main Street Suite 1A, Springfield, Ohio. Project Coordinator is Kara Van Zant, Telephone 937-521-2173, or can be found at Specifications will also be on file in the plan rooms of McGraw-Hill Construction- Dodge as well as the Builder's Exchange of Dayton. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company submitting a bid. All bids must be submitted to the Clark County Community and Economic Development, Clark County Springview Government Center, 3130 East Main Street, Suite 1A, Springfield, OH 45503 no later than Monday, 08/29/2022, at 10:00AM. Bids will be opened at approximately 10:30 A.M. in the Community and Economic Development Office. The proposal must be made on the forms provided therefore in the bid documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the work, the price of labor and materials to be separately stated. Bids shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope in the lower left hand corner as the "2110 W. Jefferson Processing Facility Demolition/Blight Removal Bid". Attention of bidders is called to the following requirements: all requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to the Ohio State Prevailing Wage, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for Payment bond and Performance Bond, Personal Property Tax Statement, and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Funding for this project is being provided by the Ohio Dept. of Development's Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program and local monies. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, or cashier's check equal to 10% of the bid. Failure to submit a proper bid bond will automatically invalidate the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Clark County Land Reutilization Corporation. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond in the amount equal to 100% of the bid award and if bidder fails to post same, the bid guaranty shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately after bid award is made. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A site inspection is scheduled for all bidders at 10:00AM on August 23, 2022. This will be the only pre-bid opportunity for bidders to inspect the site, existing structures, facilities and conditions of work. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Clark County Land Reutilization Corp. reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals; to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who in its consideration offers the lowest and best bid.
