LEGAL NOTICE/REQUEST FOR BIDS Sealed bids from General Contractors will be received by the Washington Township Fire Department at 8320 McEwen Road, Dayton, OH 45458 until 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 for the interior renovation of Fire Station 45 with an estimated cost of $190,000.00. Interested bidders should submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their fully completed and signed Bid Proposal, along with all required documentation, in a sealed envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL: Proposal for the Station 45 Interior Renovations project." Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 AM at the Washington Township Fire Station 45 Training Center located at 8328 McEwen Road, Dayton, OH 45458. Plans and specifications will be available to download from App Architecture's ShareFile site. Email your request to bids@app-arch.com and a link will be sent with downloading instructions. Plans will also be on file with Dodge Data and the Dayton Builder's Exchange. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the forms prescribed in O.R.C. Sections 153.57 and 153.571. Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates for Building Construction Projects in Montgomery County as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. The Township will award the Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, the Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of the bidder.
