Notice to Transportation Providers Request for Proposals

NOTICE TO TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROVISION OF DEMAND RESPONSE TRANSIT SERVICES The Board of Commissioners of Warren County, Ohio, is hereby issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the operation of the Warren County Transit Service beginning January 1, 2021, and ending December 31, 2021, with the option for four (4) additional one year periods. The service is a demand responsive transportation system. It is contingent upon available State and Federal funding through the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Urban Transit Program (49 USC Section 5307) and the Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT) Ohio Public Transportation Grant Program. The service area is Warren County, Ohio with several points in Butler and Montgomery County. Days and hours of operation are weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. All Respondents are notified that disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit responses to this request. The Warren County Board of Commissioners will ensure that respondents to this request will not be discriminated against based on sex, race, color, creed or national origin in consideration of an award.
