Public Announcement Request for Design-Build Services Statements

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT REQUEST FOR DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (CITY OF HAMILTON) The City of Hamilton (the "City") invites interested parties to submit sealed statements of qualifications for design-build services related to its South Erie Boulevard Firehouse project (the "Project"), which it intends to be delivered via design-build. Copies of the complete Request for Qualifications may be obtained from the City's website www.bidexpress.com Statements of Qualifications must be delivered to the City no later than August 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Sealed Statements of Qualifications should be addressed to: City of Hamilton c/o Ken Snyder, Purchasing Agent City of Hamilton Purchasing Department 345 High Street Hamilton, Ohio 45011 The Project is anticipated to include an apparatus bay, operations offices, day rooms, bunk rooms, and auxiliary apparatus bays. Community Design Alliance is acting as the Criteria Architect. The City will evaluate Statements of Qualifications submitted and then issue a Request for Proposals to those qualified firms for technical and pricing proposals. The City, at its discretion, may hold discussions with one or more individual or associated candidate firms to explore the firm(s)'s Statements of Qualifications, the scope and nature of the services the firm(s) would provide, and the various technical approaches the firm(s) may take toward the Project. NO CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE OR FEE IS REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. The City reserves the right to reject any, part of any, or all Statements of Qualifications and to waive any informality, irregularity, or failure to conform to the instructions contained in this Public Announcement or in the Statement of Qualifications. 8-2/2022
