Public Announcement Request for Professional Design & Engineering

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN & ENGINEERING SERVICES STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS The Board of Miami County Commissioners at 201 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373, invites interested parties to submit statements of qualifications for professional design and engineering services related to the county facilities and properties. The scope of the project will include providing design and/or engineering related to maintenance, improvements and/or modifications to certain Board facilities for the 2021 calendar year. As part of the project, the selected firm may also be requested to provide consulting services related to: 1) the evaluation of certain Board facilities; 2) recommending maintenance and/or improvements to Board facilities; and, 3) providing recommendations on proposed projects by the Board. It is the intention of the Board of Miami County Commissioners to obtain statements of qualifications from interested firms to be kept on file for calendar year 2021, in accordance with Ohio's Design Professional Selection Law (Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.71), for projects with an estimated design fee of less than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00). Four (4) copies of statements of qualifications shall be enclosed in an envelope, sealed, and plainly marked on the outside "2021 FACILITIES AND PROPERTY STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATION".
