Pursuant to Orc 6119.10, Southwest Regional Water District

Pursuant to ORC 6119.10, Southwest Regional Water District, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, will receive sealed bids at 3640 Old Oxford Rd, Hamilton, Ohio, 45013, until 1:30pm local time on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, for the project known as REHABILITATION OF DICKEY ELEVATED STORAGE TANK JOB #19402 & KEISTER ELEVATED STORAGE TANK JOB #20403, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The bidding documents may be obtained from Neil Bond at 513-863-0828 bondn@swwater.org. SWRWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Contact Neil Bond if you have questions regarding the project. The project is broken up into two parts. The District reserves the right to award separate contracts for each Part or to award a combined contract for both Parts. The project is described as follows: Part 1: Provide labor, material, and equipment to paint the exterior and interior of the Dickey 400,000-gallon tank along with doing the required modifications per the project specifications located at 7271 Dickey Rd in Madison Township; Butler County, Ohio. Part 2: Provide labor, material, and equipment to paint the exterior and interior of the Keister 200,000-gallon tank along with doing the required modifications per the project specifications located at 8121 Keister Rd in Madison Township; Butler County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the ORC. Such bid guaranty shall be in the form of either a 100% bond or a cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to SWRWD in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best base bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost, which is $550,000.00. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project.
