LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that on November 6, 2023, the City Commission of Springfield, Ohio, passed the following legislation: Ordinance No. 23-335, Amending the Zoning Map of Springfield, Ohio by rezoning 53.6 acres located at 3901 Laybourne Road, Springfield, Ohio from Springfield Township A, Agriculture District, to City M-1, General Manufacturing District. Ordinance No. 23-336, Amending the Zoning Map of Springfield, Ohio by rezoning 0.316 acre at 1266 South Yellow Springs Street, Springfield, Ohio from RS-8, Medium-Density, Single-Family Residence District to CN-2, Neighborhood Commercial District. Ordinance No. 23-337, Declaring the improvement to certain parcels within the Melody Parks development to be a public purpose and exempt from real property taxation; requiring the owners of those parcels to make service payments in lieu of taxes; establishing a municipal improvement tax increment equivalent fund for the deposit of those service payments; and specifying the public infrastructure improvements that directly benefit the exempt parcels. Ordinance No. 23-338, Creating the Melody Parks Tax Increment Financing Incentive Districts; declaring improvements to the parcels within each incentive district to be a public purpose and exempt from real property taxation; requiring the owners of those parcels to make service payments in lieu of taxes; establishing a municipal public improvement tax increment equivalent fund for the deposit of those service payments; specifying the public infrastructure improvements that benefit or serve parcels in the incentive district; and providing for compensation payments. Copies of the foregoing legislation are on file in City Hall at the Office of the Clerk of the City Commission, 76 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio, and are available for public inspection.
