MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM PUBLIC NOTICE The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners, as a grant recipient of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, announces the beginning of the planning process for Fiscal Year 2023. Montgomery County will accept CDBG project applications until 5:00 p.m., June 30, 2023. Applications must be scanned and submitted as a pdf, in lieu of a hard copy, and should be sent to Tawana Jones at jonest@mcohio.org. Eligible applicants include (1) the units of general purpose government for villages, municipalities and townships in the County exclusive of the Cities of Dayton and Kettering; (2) departments and related agencies of County government; and (3) private, non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, small business investment corporations or local development corporations, with specific community development and/or housing purposes. Project application forms, detailed instructions and technical assistance preparation are available from Montgomery County Business Services-Community& Economic Development, County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, 10th Floor, Dayton, Ohio 45422-1090.
