Moorefield Township Proposed Tax Levy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Moorefield Township, passed on 5/12/2020, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2020 the following question: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Moorefield Township for the purpose of operating and equipping the fire department and emergency medical program at a rate not exceeding 1.25 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.125 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2020, first due in calendar year 2021. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Precincts affected: MFLD 1, MFLD 2, MFLD 3, MFLD 4, MFLD 5, MFLD 6, MFLD, 7, MFLD 8, MFLD 9, and MFLD 10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Run dates: October 23 & 30, 2020
