NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY Record of Decision for the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Housing Program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio Pursuant to the regulations (40 Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] Part 1506.6) implementing the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 United States Code 4321, et seq) and the United States Air Force (USAF) Environmental Impact Analysis Process (32 CFR Parts 989.21(b) and 989.24(b)(7)), the USAF announces the availability of the Record of Decision for the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Housing Program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. The Record of Decision reflects the Air Force decision to renovate 30 government-owned historic housing units and demolish non-historic housing units located on Yount Drive at WPAFB, Ohio. The Record of Decision was signed on July 16, 2020. The decision was based on matters discussed in the Final EIS for the Housing Program at WPAFB, Ohio, contributions from the public and regulatory agencies, and other relevant factors including the need for mitigation for adversely affected historic properties. The Final EIS was made available to the public on May 29, 2020, through a Notice of Availability published in the Federal Register (Volume 85, Number 104, page 32390) with a 30-day waiting period that ended on June 29, 2020.
