Notice of Election Notice is Hereby Given

NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuant to a resolution passed on November 27, 2018, by Miami Township Board of Trustees, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the Special Election to be held on the 7th day of May, 2019, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: "A replacement of 5 mills and an increase of 0.5 mill to constitute a tax for the benefit of Miami Township (Unincorporated) for the purpose of providing and maintaining motor vehicles, communications, other equipment, buildings, and sites for such buildings used directly in the operation of the police department, or the payment of salaries of permanent or part-time police, communications, or administrative personnel to operate the same, including the payment of any employer contributions required for such personnel under section 145.48 or 742.33 of the Revised Code, or the payment of other related costs at a rate not exceeding 5.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.55 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2019, first due in calendar year 2020."
