Notice of Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order Effective
NOTICE OF MAYORAL PROCLAMATION AND EXECUTIVE ORDER EFFECTIVE MARCH 16, 2020 In an effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, City of Springfield Mayor Warren R. Copeland issued a Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency beginning March 16, 2020, as authorized by the City of Springfield Codified Ordinance Section 115.01 addressing operations of the City. On June 1, 2020, Mayor Copeland issued Amendment No. 3 to the Mayoral Proclamation and Executive Order addressing security and enforcement support of the Police Division and protection of first responders from COVID-19. The entire Executive Order and subsequent amendments are available on the city's website at www.springfieldohio.gov and the originals are signed and filed in the City Clerk's Office.
