Public Notice of Amendments to Administrative Rules 1. The Ohio Commission on Minority Health is providing this public notice more than 30 days in advance of our intent to amend our administrative rules in accordance with section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. 2. The proposed rules to be amended are to remove requirements to request Commission information via written requests/postal mail notifications, to update payment notification to email versus postal mail, expanding definitions to include health literacy, providing clarification on language, and posting meeting notices and notification of rule amendments to state agency website. The public hearing will be held on December 13, 2023 from 10:00 am 11:00 am in the Vern Riffe Government Building located at 77 S. High Street on the 19th Floor in Room 1910 in Columbus, Ohio 43215. All visitors to this building must provide a valid picture identification to enter the building. The rules are being amended for clarity and to remove outdated requirement to receive meeting notices by postal mail. 3. Any interested person may attend the public hearing and be heard in person or by his/her representative. This notice of the public hearing is also posted on the state agency website at www.mih.ohio.gov/about/administrative-rules 11-10/2023
