The City of Mason Floodplain Administrator, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City of Mason's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between the culvert under Broadview Court upstream of Quinn Park and the culvert under Donna Jean Boulevard downstream of Quinn Park along Muddy Creek. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Muddy Creek from a point located in the published effective flood profile at river mile 1.859 along Muddy Creek at the downstream end to a point at river mile 2.413 along Muddy Creek in the effective flood profile at the upstream end. As a result of the revision, the floodway shall narrow, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall decrease everywhere in the study area except for the area immediately downstream of the Tradewind Drive culverts within Quinn Park, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall narrow within the area of revision.
