LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the Monroe Board of Zoning Appeals on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, 233 South Main Street, Monroe, Ohio. This meeting will be broadcasted live on Facebook at Facebook.com/MonroeOhio. The Board of Zoning Appeals will consider a variance application from Justen Scalf of Onestop Signs LLC on behalf of Sherwin Williams, 1303 Hamilton Lebanon Road, regarding proposed window signage and window tint coverage. The applicant requests to exceed the maximum window signage, which is 30% of the window area, and the maximum window tint, which is 20% of the window area, regarding four windows on the Sherwin Williams tenant space. Public comments or questions may be submitted no later than 6:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, to the City Planner at jonesk@monroeohio.org. These comments or questions will be read into the record during the public hearing portion of the meeting. You must include your name, address, and telephone number with your comments or questions. Comments or questions shall not exceed three minutes in length when read. The public may appear at the public hearing, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to the application. Monroe will provide assistance to persons with disabilities, needing interpreters, other auxiliary aids, and services in order to participate in this meeting. Any request for such assistance must be made no later than 72 hours in advance of the meeting by contacting the Development Department at 539-7374 ext. 1020.
