LEGAL NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF REQUEST FOR FUNDING PROPOSALS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS ON Draft FY 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Update. The Department of Administrative Services for City of Middletown, Ohio announces the availability of Request for Funding Proposals for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for program year 2020-21. RFFP is available on the city's website at http://cityofmiddletown.org or by contacting the Department at 513-425-7939. Proposals are due on or before 4pm on January 31, 2020. The proposed budget estimated for CDBG is $724,744. The Department of Administrative Services will hold its first public hearing on Tuesday, March 3 at 3pm in Administrative Services Department conference room, 3rd Floor, One Donham Plaza, Middletown, Ohio 45042 to consider the Draft FY 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Update for Middletown, Ohio which includes the recommended 2020-21 budget for the CDBG funds. The objectives of CDBG program include the revitalization, preservation, conservation and redevelopment of neighborhoods, stimulating economic development; and providing public improvements projects and other eligible activities, some of which are carried out by subrecipients. The first public hearing will be for the purposes of considering input and recommendations from interested parties and community stakeholders for submitting a draft for consideration to City Council. A second public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers, One Donham Plaza, Middletown, Ohio 45042. City Council will receive and consider any additional comments or recommendations prior to approving and directing the submission of the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
