LEGAL NOTICE: Please be advised there will be public hearings held during the City of Mason Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio. The public hearings will be held to review the following items: PLN19-0091 A variance is being requested from the Mason Zoning Code, Chapter 1187.13 Signs in the B-3 Road Service Business District, for a property at Kings Mills Rd. and State Route 741 This section of the Zoning Code of the sign regulations, only permits one ground sign per street frontage, as well as two directional signs. The applicant is requesting a variance to add additional ground signage in the form of a menu board as well as additional directional signage. PLN19-0092 A variance is being requested from the Mason Zoning Code, Chapter 1147.5 R-1 through R-4 Single Family Development Standards for a property at 928 Briarwood Ct. This section of the Zoning Code requires a fifty (50) feet front yard setback for principal structures or any additions to a principal structure. The applicant is requesting a variance to construct an attached garage that would be approximately twenty eight (28) from the front yard setback of State Route 741. PLN19-0083 A variance is being requested from the Mason Zoning Code, Chapter 1185.2 Fences and Walls for a property(s) at 211 Washington Way. This section of the Zoning Code does not permit fences in a front yard. The applicant is also requesting a variance construct a fence that would extend into the property's front yard along Adams Dr. Anyone interested in reviewing the above listed variance requests may do so Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the City of Mason Engineering & Building Department, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Road, or may attend the Tuesday, October 29, 2019 Zoning Board of Appeals public hearing. 10-13/2019
