Public Notice of Industries in Significant Noncompliance of Pretreatment Regulations As part of the requirements of CFR, Part 403 (General Pretreatment Regulations) the City is required to publish an annual listing of all industries that were in significant noncompliance with the pretreatment regulations anytime during the previous year. Those industries that were in significant noncompliance during the period from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018 are as follows: Jackson Lea, Inc. 3440 Symmes Road Hamilton, Ohio 45015 Violations (1): An accidental spill from the industry and obstruction of the sanitary sewer main occurred; in violation of City of Hamilton Ordinance 931. A sanitary sewer overflow event also resulted from obstruction. Actions: On-site meeting with the industry to determine the source of the spill and evaluate the material, an invoice was issued to the industry to recover the City's repair costs. Corrective Action: Inspection and maintenance was performed on the leaking pump and piping, a baffle/weir was installed to divert future spills away from floor drain. City crews necessary repairs to sanitary sewers. Penalties: No additional penalties were assessed. No other customers were impacted.
