German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City) Additional Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City), passed on January 22, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City) for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repairs of streets, roads, and bridges in municipal corporations, counties, or townships that the county auditor estimates will collect $269,086.00 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $35 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years.
