Invitation to Bid: Restoration of Pumphouse Rd. Bridge on Buck Creek Trail The Springfield Conservancy District (SCD) will receive bids by e-mail (springfieldconservancydistrict@gmail.com) for the Pumphouse Road Bridge Repair Project (Project) until 10:00 a.m. EST, Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The Project will restore limited functionality (load limit of 90 psf)) to the now-closed early 20th century steel truss Pumphouse Road bridge across Beaver Creek south of Old Reid Park in Springfield, Ohio. The project will encompass removal of the existing (asphalt and wood) deck, installation of new steel stringers, installation of a new wooden deck and railings, and certification by an Ohio professional engineer that the post-project load capacity is at least 90 psf. Bids must be submitted on the form included in the bid package, and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee meeting the requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
