LEGAL NOTICE NO. 671 Bids will be received via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) until 2:00 P.M. on February 4th, 2026, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the following improvement: PRODUCTION WELLS 14 AND 15 AND RAW WATER MAIN PROJECT. This project includes the following work: Soldiers Home Road Production Well Field: Construction of two proposed well heads, with pumps in the existing drilled wells including two submersible vertical well pumps, piping, valves, valve pits, pig launching station, flow meters, pre-engineered wood building, HVAC, paving, fencing, earthwork, site utilities, electrical equipment, standby generator, variable frequency drives, instrumentation, communications interface, SCADA and telemetry equipment for the two new wells. Raw Water Main: Construction of approximately 8,300 linear feet of 18" ductile iron raw water main along Soldiers Home Rd. and N. Riverview Ave., installed by open cut and trenchless methods. Water Treatment Facility and Existing great Miami Production Well Field: Perform tie in to the reaction tank, chemical injection, and backwash basins at the existing Water Treatment Facility and provide SCADA and telemetry equipment for the existing five production wells. An optional Pre-bid Conference will be held on January 21st, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at City Council Chambers, City of Miamisburg Civic Center, 10 N. First St., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Detailed specifications, plans and all questions/responses are available only through the Bid Express website. Bids are required to be submitted through the Bid Express website. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days following the bid opening. All work must be substantially completed within 365 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Attention of bidders is called to all the requirements contained in the bid documents, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
