Thomas NOTICE OF SMALL CLAIMS PROCEEDING (SERVICE BY PUBLICATION) To: Ivan L. Thomas Whose whereabouts are unknown or upon whom personal service of process cannot be had, and is the defendant in said proceedings. You are notified that on August 27th, 2025, Plaintiff Carl Grant filed a Small Claim against you in the Butler County Area II Court, of Butler County, Ohio, Case No. CVI 2501108, seeking judgement against you in the sum of $4,861.69. The subject of the claim is breach of contract for carpentry work that was agreed between the Plaintiff Carl Grant, and Defendant Ivan L. Thomas, but which was not completed. Where 50% deposit was given to Defendant Ivan L. Thomas, and the work not having been completed, Plaintiff Carl Grant, is seeking judgement against Defendant Ivan L. Thomas, for the return of deposit in the sum of $4,861.69, plus court costs for Case No. CVI 2501108. Service is considered complete at the last date of publication of this legal notice, which shall be published once a week for six (6) consecutive weeks, 11-21, 11-28, 12-05, 12-12, 12-19 and 12-26/2025. The defendant named above will be required to answer within twenty-eight (28) days after the last publication of this legal notice.
