INVITATION TO BID PUBLIC NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by the Greene County Public Library, Board of Trustees, at the Board of Trustees' Offices at 76 East Market Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385, until: Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 12:00 noon local time and opened at 2:00 PM, December 14 at the Board of Trustees' meeting to be held at 76 East Market Street, Xenia, OH 45385 for furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, services and supervision necessary to complete the project titled: Greene County Public Library KINSEY ROAD SERVICE CENTER RENOVATION 503 Kinsey Road Xenia, Ohio 45385 Proposals shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by K4 Architecture, LLC. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted. Bids by facsimile transmission will not be accepted. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. Individual lump sum bids for trade contract TC-01 are requested. The Architect's estimate for this contracts is: TC-01 General Contract $286,554.00 Starting Monday, November 14, 2022, bidders may purchase Contract Documents at the cost of reproduction from ARC Document Solutions, 424 E 3rd Street, Dayton, OH 45402; Phone: 937-277-7930, Fax: 937-277-7937. Specifications, Plans, and Contract Documents may be examined at the following places: K4 Architecture, LLC 555 Gest Street Cincinnati, OH 45203 Phone: (513) 455-5000 Fax: (513) 455-5009 Board of Trustees Greene County Public Library 76 East Market Street Xenia, OH 45385 A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site, 503 Kinsey Road, Xenia, OH 45385, on: Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 9:00am Bidders shall submit with their bid and bid guaranty in the form of either (1) a combined bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank or irrevocable letter of credit in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, including base bid and alternates, as bid security. The bid guaranty shall be in strict compliance with Sections 153.54, 153.57, 153.571, as applicable. The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a contract bond in the sum equal to 100% of the proposal. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Rates on public improvements in Greene County, Ohio as ascertained and determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services Wage and Hour Division as provided in Section 4115 of the Revised Code of Ohio. Submitted bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of (60) sixty days following the date of bid opening. The Owner will award contracts to the lowest responsible bidders. The Board of Trustees, Greene County Public Library, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
