PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT NON-COMPLIANCE 7-8-22 As required in the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit number 1PD00004*ND issued to the Veolia Water, Municipalities of Franklin, Germantown, and Carlisle, Ohio, under part II Other Requirements Section U (7); "each year the permittee shall publish, in the largest daily newspaper within the permittee's service area, a list of Industrial users which during the previous 12 months (Reporting year 2021-22), have been in Significant Non-Compliance (OAC 3745-3-03 (c) (2) (g)) with applicable pretreatment standards or requirements." During the review period of: Feb. 1, 2022 April 30, 2022 (4th Qtr Reporting for the 2021-22 year). There were (2) Industry in Significant Non-Compliance with the wastewater pretreatment program requirements for the Veolia Water, Franklin Area Wastewater Treatment Plant (FAWWTP) Industry with the SNC: Pfizer Inc., located on 160 Industrial Dr. Franklin, Ohio 45005. The Pfizer Inc. failed to submit their 4th Qtr Self Monitoring Report by the due date and going past the grace period of 45 days. Cheney Pulp & Paper Co., located on 1000 Anderson St. Franklin, Ohio 45005. The Cheney Pulp & Paper Co. failed to submit their 4th Qtr Self Monitoring Report by the due date and going past the grace period of 45 days. The Veolia Water (FAWWTP) is located at 201 Baxter Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005. 7-17/2022
