Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 5573.10, Notice

Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 5573.10, Notice is hereby given as a property owner within the Union Centre Road District Interchange Boulevard Landscape Improvement and Maintenance District; you are hereby notified that the West Chester Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing on the renewal of said district. On August 10, 2004, the West Chester Township Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Union Centre Road District Interchange Boulevard Landscape Improvement and Maintenance District and its boundaries. Properties within these boundaries were determined to benefit from the beautification improvements along roadways in the District, especially along Union Centre Boulevard and at the Union Centre Interchange. The properties have been assessed costs on a semiannual basis for the last twenty (20) years to maintain the beautification improvements. The assessment was approved at the same meeting in 2004. The assessment period expires this year. After reviewing the boundaries of the District, the beautification improvements, and the Township's costs to maintain the improvements, it has been determined the assessment must be renewed for an additional ten (10) years at an annual amount of $165,000 with no increase from previous assessment. The renewed assessment amount for your applicable property to be assessed annually for an additional ten (10) years pending West Chester Board of Trustees' approval. Assessment amounts are billed and payable with the traditional semiannual property tax cycle. A Public Hearing regarding the renewal of the Union Centre Landscape Maintenance District Assessment will be conducted before the West Chester Board of Trustees as provided by law on: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., West Chester Township Trustee Hall, 9113 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. The information concerning the aforementioned renewal of the Landscape Maintenance District will be available for examination for a period of at least ten (10) days prior to the Public Hearing, in the West Chester Township Administration Offices, 9113 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment.
