Ph: 614-644-3037 email: HClerk@epa.ohio.gov Air Pollution Draft Model General Permit for Comment Date of Action: 09/23/2022 Availability of Draft for Comment The Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC) is making available for public comment draft permit language for potential amendment of the Model General Permits listed below: -General Permit 8.1 - Mineral Extraction. Changes to the permit include updated BAT requirements in accordance with SB 165, corrections to typographical and grammatical errors, updated emission factors, and updated reporting language to reflect current Terms & Conditions Library terms. -General Permit 10.1 -Aggregate Processing Plant Employing Dust Control Measures, in Both Appendix A and Non-Appendix A, and Without Baghouse or Wet Scrubber Control. Changes to the permit include updated BAT requirements in accordance with SB 165, typographical and grammatical corrections, updated reporting language to reflect current Terms & Conditions Library terms and NSPS requirements, updated emission factors, corrections to applicable opacity limitations, and removed reporting requirements for equipment replacement allowed under "like-kind replacement policy." -General Permit 10.2 - Portable Aggregate Processing Plant Employing Dust Control Measures Without Baghouse or Wet Scrubber Control. Changes to the permit include updated BAT requirements in accordance with SB 165, typographical and grammatical corrections, updated reporting language to reflect current Terms & Conditions Library terms and NSPS requirements, updated emission factors, corrections to applicable opacity limitations, and removed reporting requirements for equipment replacement allowed under "like-kind replacement policy."
