NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING #2 STATE OF OHIO FY 2024 CDBG ALLOCATION PROGRAM Date: May 15, 2024 Clark County has received notice from the Ohio Department of Development, Office of Community Infrastructure, indicating that it has been allocated $ 268,000 under the PY 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Allocation Program, a federally funded program administered by the State. These funds are available to Clark County provided it meets applicable requirements. On March 28, 2024 a general public hearing was held at the Springview Government Center to inform citizens about this and other programs, how funds may be used, what activities are eligible, and other important program requirements. Applications were subsequently received from Springfield Township and the City of New Carlisle. This facility is handicapped accessible. The purpose of this hearing is to provide citizens an opportunity to review and comment on this application prior to its submission to the Ohio Department of Development. Citizens are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing on May 29, 2024 to express their views concerning this application.
