2023 Notice of Intent to Sell Unneeded, Obsolete

2023 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE OR UNFIT MUNICIPAL PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH LEBANON BY INTERNET AUCTION Pursuant to Section 721.15(D) of the Ohio Revised Code, the City of South Lebanon, a municipal corporation in the State of Ohio, is hereby giving notice to the public of the City's intent to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit municipal property in calendar year 2023, per Resolution# 2023-02. The City Council has entered into contract with Govdeals.com on February 2, 2023, to sell items that meet the aforementioned criteria. Resolution #2023-02 lists the following requirements for said auctions: 1) that the internet auction shall satisfy the statutory minimum of ten (10) days (including Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays) for bidding on the property; 2) that the Council reserves the right to set a minimum price to be accepted for specific items and any other terms and conditions for a particular sale, such as requirements for pick-up or delivery, method of payment, and sales tax, if it so elects and notifies GovDeals.com of the same which shall be provided on the internet at the time of the auction, and; 3) all payments will be collected by GovDeals including any buyer's premium charges.
