Pursuant to ORC 6119.10, Southwest Regional Water District (SWRWD), a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, will receive sealed bids at 3640 Old Oxford Road, Hamilton, Ohio, 45013, until 1:00pm local time on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, for the project NORTH PLANT #1 WELL REHABILITATION-JOB #23502, and publicly opened and read aloud. Project Description: The NORTH PLANT #1 WELL REHABILITATION-JOB #24503: Project is to clean the well and to install a new pump/motor combination to meet or exceed the performance requirements listed in the specifications, and drawings. The bid shall include all labor, materials, and equipment to do this work. This project is a performance based project. Each bidder is required to furnish with their bid a guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the ORC. Such bid guaranty shall be in the form of a 100% bond, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to SWRWD equal to 10% of the bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each bid shall contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best Bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate, of $125,000.00.
