PUBLIC NOTICE The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the Butler & Warren CO Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) to construct an Apprenticeship Training Lab in Liberty Township, Butler County OH, to provide more hands-on-training for our apprentices. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project. The project will give us more room to train more apprentices, and provide apprentices with more access to the hands-on portion of our apprenticeship program. The new apprenticeship Training Lab will give us the space we need to accept more apprentices into our program in the growing field of electrical construction. The project will be located at 4300 Millikin Road, Hamilton OH, 45011. This is across from our existing training facility, but will be housed separately in a building we will own. The purpose of the project is to enhance our current training, and offer more career opportunities in the Electrical Construction Industry.
