Notice of Hearings Notice is Hereby Given

NOTICE OF HEARINGS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Miami County Commissioners has resolved to hold two public hearings with respect to the renewal and reenactment of an additional one fourth of one per cent sales tax levied upon all retail sales occurring in Miami County, Ohio, except for sales of motor vehicles, motorcraft and outboard motors, all pursuant to Section 5739.026 of the Ohio Revised Code, to provide additional revenue for the general fund of Miami County, Ohio, to be levied for a period of five (5) years, commencing on October 1, 2024. Said levy would maintain the rate of an existing tax of one fourth of one per cent. The first hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 9:10 a.m. and the second hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 9:10 a.m., both hearings to be held in the Commissioners' Hearing Room, Miami County Safety Building, 201 W.
