8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 is the deadline to submit an absentee ballot request for the May 5, 2026 Primary/Special Election Absentee ballot request forms are available to be printed at www.montgomery.boe.ohio.gov or www.voteohio.gov. Requests must be received by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the: Montgomery County Board of Elections Voter Services Department 451 W. Third Street Dayton, Ohio 45422 All completed absentee ballots must be received at the board of elections office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. The only exception is: A voter outside of the United States whose ballot must be signed by the close of polls on Election Day and received within 4 days after the election A voter may vote in-person at the board of elections office starting at 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2026, until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
