ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF CATAWBA 2 WEST PLEASANT STREET CATAWBA, OHIO 43010 Sealed BIDS will be received by Village of Catawba for the filter equipment design, fabrication and delivery (Contract 1) and the construction (Contract 2) of the Filter Replacement Project. The work consists of the design, fabrication and delivery of the gravity filtration equipment for Contract 1. Contract 2 includes all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to install the new gravity filtration unit, concrete foundation slab, high service pumps & motors (add alternate 1), piping, and appurtenances. All workmanship and materials are to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, which may be examined at the following locations: Environmental Engineering Service 3575 Columbia Road Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (513) 934-1512 Sealed BIDS will be received for Contract 1 and Contract 2 of the Village of Catawba Filter Replacement Project at the Village of Catawba Office, 2 West Pleasant Street, Catawba Ohio 43010 until 12:00 PM noon (local time) on the 17th day of November 2026 at which time all BIDS will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders shall accompany their BIDS with a Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the maximum amount bid or a Certified Check or Cashier's Check for 10% of the bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid date and in accordance with ORC 153.54. Each Bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the required wage rates for Clark County, Ohio as identified in the contract documents. "DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT.
