ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF CLARKSVILLE PO BOX 167 CLARKSVILLE OH 45113 Sealed BIDS will be received by the Village of Clarksville for the Water Meter Replacement and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System Procurement Project. The work consists of furnishing water meters and meter transmission units (MTUs) to be installed by the Contractor, and furnishing and setting up advanced meter reading and associated billing system. Approximately 234 meters shall be furnished under this Contract. All workmanship and materials are to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, which may be examined at the following locations: Environmental Engineering Service 3575 Columbia Road Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (513) 934-1512 Village of Clarksville Clarksville, OH 45113 (513) 221-8023 Sealed BIDS will be received for the construction of the Village of Clarksville Water Meter Replacement and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System Procurement Project at the Village of Clarksville, PO Box 167, Clarksville, OH 45113, until 12:00 noon (local time) on the 20th day of August 2026 at which time all BIDS will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Davis-Bacon (Federal) Prevailing Wage Determinations must be used in addition to any State prevailing wage rates. The contractor shall use the higher rate for each job classification (between State wage rates and Davis-Bacon wage rates) for paying labor employed in the construction of this project. "DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES." (SEC. 153.011 (E).) The Village of Clarksville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, delete any portion or portions thereof or to waive any irregularities in the bidding.
