Butler County Solid Waste District is seeking an individual to serve on the Solid Waste Policy Committee in the following positions: General Interest of Citizens an area citizen who shall have no conflict of interest through affiliation with a waste management company or with any entity that is a significant generator of solid wastes. The Solid Waste District Policy Committee is responsible for developing a fifteen (15) year solid waste management plan and will oversee implementation of the Plan. Candidates should have an interest in waste reduction and recycling and be available to attend up to four (4) annual meetings. Meetings are held in the morning, usually on the 2nd or 3rd Monday of the month at the Butler County Government Services Building, 315 High Street. Appointment to the Solid Waste District Policy Committee is for a term of (2) years. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and a biography or resume to Butler County Solid Waste District, 130 High Street, Hamilton, OH 45011.
