CITY OF SPRINGBORO ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Engineer 320 West Central Avenue, Springboro Ohio 45066 until 12:00 noon, local time, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary, to complete the project known as "Heatherwoode Golf Course Cart Building Improvements" and at said time publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, the following major items: Installation of pedestrian and employee protection before any work takes place; select demolition, framing of single-story structure on existing masonry walls, including truss system and all exterior building envelope finishes. Modifications to existing entries; addition of new entry with concrete porch and roof structure. Associated concrete work at entries only. Bid documents will be available in the Office of the City Engineer, 320 West Central Avenue, Springboro Ohio 45066, on August 10, 2026. To register for eligibility, bidders must purchase documents from the Office of the City Engineer for a payment of $25.00 per set, in person or via phone, none of which will be refunded. Deadline to purchase documents is the Monday prior to bid opening at 4:00pm. The City of Springboro, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Heatherwoode Golf Course (lower level), 88 Heatehrwoode Blvd., Springboro, OH 45066, on September 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A site visit will follow. All Bidders are requested to point out any discrepancies and ask for any clarifications at any time during the bid process. Formal questions will be accepted until noon on September 4, 2026, by email to Chad.Dixon@cityofspringboro.com and if required, the City shall issue a written Addendum by September 10, 2026, which shall become part of the Construction Documents.
