CITY OF SPRINGFIELD ANNUAL MEETINGS NOTICE The City of Springfield's regularly scheduled meetings are hereby publicized. Meetings are held at City Hall, 76 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502, unless otherwise noted. City Commission: The City Commission will hold its Organizational Meeting at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 in the City Hall Forum. All other legislative meetings are held every two weeks on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. starting with Tues, Jan 13, 2026, in the City Hall Forum except for the Mon, May 4 and Nov 2, meetings. The Commission Retreat is scheduled for Wed and Thurs, March 18 and 19, at 5:00 p.m. at NAAMCE, 1323 W. Blee Rd; and Budget Meetings are scheduled for Mon and Tues, Nov 9 and 10, at 5 p.m. in the Gothard Room. Meetings are to be held no less than 48 times in the calendar year with no two meetings being more than 14 days apart. All meetings shall be held in the City Hall Forum unless the City Commission determines to hold such meeting on a different day or at another location; notice of the meeting change shall be published in accordance with applicable law. A complete calendar for 2026 may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office. Board of Building Appeals: Third Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room as needed. Board of Zoning Appeals: Third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. Meetings will be held on Tues, Jan 21, and Tues, Feb 18, due to holiday observances or conflict with other city organized meetings. City Planning Board: First Monday following the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum. Meeting will be held Wed, Sept 9, due to holiday observance. Civil Service Commission: Fourth Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Legal Conference Room. Meetings will be held on Thurs, Nov 19 and Thurs, Dec 17 due to holiday observances. Community Beautification Committee: First Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Forum Conference Room. Community Grant Advisory Board: Second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Community Development Conference Room. Community Police Advisory Team: Second Wednesday of every other month beginning with January at 4 p.m. in the Gothard Room. Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council: Requests for information on meetings should be directed to the Community Development Department, City Hall. Compensation Board: Requests for information on meetings should be directed to the City Clerk's Office, City Hall. Historic Landmarks Commission: First Monday following the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. Meeting will be held Wed, Sept 9 due to holiday observance. Human Relations Board: Requests for information on meetings should be directed to the Community Development Department, City Hall. Joint Economic Development District: Board of Directors meet at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport Terminal Building Conference Room. Mediation Board: Requests for information on meetings should be directed to the Community Development Department, City Hall.
